Support FAQ

1. Do you offer an enterprise pricing plan for the API?

We provide volume-based discounts for enterprise customers. Please contact business@vastai3d.com for details.

2. Common error codes

Error code 2000
This usually means you exceeded our concurrency limit. The default concurrency limit is 10. To avoid this error, we recommend implementing a queue. Enterprise customers can request a higher concurrency limit by contacting business@vastai3d.com.

Error code 2008
Your input may have triggered our content safety checks and violates our content policy. Please revise your input. If you believe your input is compliant, contact support@vastai3d.com.

Error code 2010
Your credits have been exhausted. Please check billing and recharge as needed.

3. How long are credits valid after purchase?

Credits never expire.

4. What are the concurrency and rate-limit requirements? Can they be increased?

The default concurrency limit is 10, meaning the maximum number of tasks that can be in progress or queued at any time. Enterprise customers can request a higher limit by contacting business@vastai3d.com.

5. How can I view my task history and credit usage?

You can view them in the platform history page.

6. Will failed tasks consume credits?

Failed tasks do not consume credits. If credits were deducted, they will be refunded later. For technical support, contact support@vastai3d.com.

7. Will API inputs and generated models be used for training?

No. We do not use any customer data for training.

8. Does Tripo collect, store, or process user data?

  1. The Tripo API does not collect, store, or process users' personal data.
  2. Tripo will retain user inputs and generated data for XXX.
  3. For enterprise customers, Tripo can set data retention periods on request. Please contact business@vastai3d.com.

9. Are the results from the Tripo API the same as Tripo Studio?

Yes. The Tripo API and Studio use the same underlying algorithms, with no differences in output quality or speed.

10. Got 403 while downloading models or images?

For security reasons, the download link is valid for 60 seconds. You need to download the file within this time frame. If the link expires, request a new download link from the task.

11. What is the relation between the webapp and the platform?

Our webapp and API operate under two independent billing systems. Credits are not shared between them, and pricing differs. Each has its own top-up entry, so you need to recharge them separately.

12. Got 401 for every request?

Your API key and Client ID are not the same. The API key starts with tsk_, while the Client ID starts with tcli_. Each serves a distinct purpose and should be used correctly.

API Key: A unique identifier used to authenticate requests associated with your project for usage and billing purposes.
Client ID: Used to identify your application or service when interacting with the API; it is not used for authentication.

Make sure you use the API key in your requests. If you use the Client ID instead, authentication will fail.
